PAINTING WHEN FROZEN

"Snow Day" 8" x 10"

This was my third stop of the day. By
now I'm getting cold and I had to
walk about two hundred yards in knee
deep snow to get to this location.
Done in an hour I'm headed home for
some warmth and a cup of coffee.

Rusty, these are beautiful. Wish it had snowed here in Austin!

You inspire me to go out plein air painting in the snow. I live in WI so I will have to wait until it warms up bit.

Your painting titled "First Snow Painting" looks just like a Wisconsin landscape. Very nice!

Great pictures, getting out in the snow really stirs the blood or freezes it not to sure. Doing new and different things is always invigorating.
We even had snow here on Oak Island NC. Everything comes to a standstill with only sand shovels and all.
